Notes: Trudy's symptoms were minimal on 5/11, they improved only slightly, then plateaued. Their neurologist dropped dose of pred from 25 mg (15/10) to 20 mg (10/10) three weeks ago. Around the same time, they ran out of Curcumin & Boswellia. During past few weeks, weather has been unseasonably hot, and dog has been unusually inactive, lethargic, unwilling to play. Up and down, some good days, starting a few days ago (some slightly cooler weather). Description of "bad" days does not sound neurologic, although owner noted that Trudy fell off a narrow bridge once, which she has not done since early days of recovery. Owner will test her again on bridge and note whether she has any drift while gaiting. Only abnormalities noted today were slight "pacing" at the walk (more lateral than diagonal timing) and +/- slight head tilt to left. Her tongue was very red and wet, she panted a lot and lay on cool concrete or grass. Pulse... was hard to feel at first, then steady, but odd. Stimulated GB20, then it felt better, but can't really say how. Put back on Curcumin & Boswellia and decided to refer to a different neurologist for a second opinion.
