Notes:  I started patient on Liu Jun Zi Tang 2 weeks ago because he was cachexic, depressed, watery diarrhea worse than ever, and so thin. His rDVM and I decided he should start to slowly wean off all his meds over the next 2 months, except for the Vit B12. He came in today brighter, tail-wagging, solid stool, increase in weight!!

Notes:  Bruce had been doing very well with reduced steroids and a kibble formulation mixed with chicken hearts - he had begun to gain weight and actually had formed stool for the first time in a year. The owners had been gradually reducing Budesonide and Dex, taken him off all the other drugs but B12, and continued with just the Six Gentlepets. However 2 weeks ago he started to develop soft stools again. At his visit he was still very BAR compared to our first intake, his weight was stable, but his pulses were deficient/weak and narrow and his tongue still light pink-lavender, narrow, phlegmy coated. I performed acupuncture to tonify the Spleen and Liver Blood.
