Treatment and Outcome
Notes:
I am beginning to think that Jimmy has Shao Yang disharmony. When I tonified GB 34, he became restless and agitated. When I sedated the point, he relaxed.
Tomorrow I want to start him on Benefits Hips and Knees. I am debating about starting him on Three seeds or perhaps something else (6 gentlemen?) to boost his appetite and energy.
Acupuncture points were stimulated
Notes:
Thank you for the confirmation about the herb!
I put Jimmy on the BHK and initially he seemed to be doing better (walking around more and eating better). He is also on Three seeds SID. However, owner reports that he is very agitated at midnight - 4am. Also, on his most recent acupuncture treatment (yesterday) - he was painful on GB 34.
I told her to stop the three seeds and decrease the dose of the BHK to SID.
We ran a UPC ratio today and won't have the results until later this week as well as bloodwork.
Any thoughts on why the BHK might be causing the gallbladder to become more active (leading to the restlessness at midnight)?
Thank you!!
