Day 27

Notes:  Briefly got worse. He chewed new wound below dogLeg and when they removed it to tx found bad erosion under brace on tip of Calcaneus. Telephone consult and started herbs and DermaGel around 3/1. Doing much better. Removed DogLegg, Doing well on herbs. Doing more training. Owners and dog much calmer. Original Lick granuloma on dorsal metatarsal is half crusted, granulation tissue on the edges, new wounds all pink granulation tissue. He still lick occasionally but everyone is much happier. Using DermaGel daily.

Day 46

Notes:  O has visitor. Licking has gotten worse and he has irritated his main wound. Discussed keeping him occupied and in his schedule. Teach visitor to play some of his training games.

Day 55

Notes:  A bit more licking with visitors and one owner traveling. Wound is better but still open. Owners feel it is stagnant for last two weeks. Applying Derma Gel 2-3 times a day. Tried to use DogLegg once and he got it off while they were gone. Was very anxious after last visit for 3 days. Still has granulation area distal to dorsal metatarsal joint oval about 2cmx1cm. Skin below is black and alopecic. Pulses weakest at Spleen/Stomach. No points tested seemed to help.
