Treatment and Outcome

Problem Notes
  • Chronic Recurrent Cervical Lymph Node Abscesses: This case was my own goat, in a life before I was a veterinarian.

The local conventional veterinarian's instructions were to express each abscess twice a day and flush with dilute povidone-iodine. Also IM injections of PPG. This was a big strong goat and the abscesses were painful. We did our goat wrastlin' twice a day and got the job done.

As soon as one abscess healed, another formed within days.

    This went on for months.

After two oral doses of homeopathic Hepar Sulfuris Calcarea 12c, the abscess healed on its own and no more abscesses appeared for two years after that until I sold her.
