Problem Notes
  • Laryngeal Paralysis: Dx 2017. Worse at night
  • Left Pelvic Paresis And Pain: Hurt neck 7/2020 climbing out of pool. Limping on L thoracic since. Xrays at the time inconclusive. Got a little better then much worse 2 weeks before first appointment 3/19/202. Dragging LT, difficulty flipping paw, spinatus muscles gone, weak LP CP decreased, wound on top of LP paw. Crossing rear legs. Does get up on her own. Stopped walking her. DM negative. On Carprofen and pepcid complete. Severe plastic and grass allergies. Has had 13 teeth pulled. Had a cough a few months ago but not now. Have a new puppy who is rough with her. Both had diarrhea 2 weeks ago with new chews, resolved. Friendly but nervous, Left pulses weaker than R but Heart weakest.

Treatments
Day 7

Notes:  Slept hard after AP better for a couple of days then started vomiting in early morning. Monday dark brown vomit with chunks. Probable hematochezia. Advised stop Carprofen. Start Duralactin, Xiao chai Hu and Xue fu zhu yu tang.

Diet is largely canned or kibble

Acupuncture points were stimulated

Manipulation or massage was performed


Day 14

Notes:  She did poorly off Carprofen, looked painful so restarted and the deceased evening dose to 37.5mg. Looks weaker on front but paw is correct more often. Still getting up and down. No more vomiting. Haven’t started Xue fu zhu yu tang. O’s mother went into hospice. Still eating well. BM occasionally dark. Left sided pulses weakest.
