Day 224

Notes:  Been working on P since late June 2021. She has been doing fanstatic. Along with SLO she had unsure undiagnosed hematuria episodes. She had u/s of bladder, culture/Sensitivity done, no explained cause for this. It was determined that we needed to treat for Blood Heat with secondary Blood Stasis and Blood/Yin deficiency, associated with chronic dermatitis of an immune mediated nature.
About 2 months ago her liver was having issues with the Doxycycline so that was d/c. She currently is on the following.
CBD heal/topical- when needed- CBD Dog Health
Herbals- Cool the Blood by Kan Herbals- 1 tablet daily right now.
Dasuquin Advanced ESM- This is a prescription only joint supplement- Give 1 chew daily.
Standard Process Canine Cardiac Support- Used daily.
Standard Process DHA/EPA- Continue as directed , staple for the treatment of SLO
Niancinamide- Continue as directed, staple for the treatment of SLO
Vit. E- Continue as directed, staple for treatment of SLO

O feeds Answers Pet food with some added in veggies, P gets sardines. O reports in the last 3 months back to her old self, playful, less grumpy, doing great.

I am concerned about completely going off of the Cool the Blood, due to chronic nature of heat in her body. Not sure what the next step would be? Should we be addressing underlying Jing Def now? She has hip dysplasia, congenital heart issues, IVDD issues lower back? Her pulse is still fast ( but she is nervous during appt.) as she has some water personality tendencies. She still has red blister , no pus etc. between digit 3 and 4 on hindfeet. I do believe its partly due to toes rubbing together like vs inflammation here.

Diet is largely raw

Acupuncture points were stimulated

Manipulation or massage was performed

All of her toenails are growing back thick and strong, no licking or chewing at toenails. P is now playful due to pain going down.

Diet is largely raw

Acupuncture points were stimulated
