Treatment and Outcome

Problem Notes
  • Progressive Tetraparesis With Suspected Testicular Tumor: Tongue is pale pink and dry. Pulse is thin, toned deep and weak. It softens with AP at LIV 3, but not GB 41 or KID 3. ST 36 increased the tone in his pulse/made it fuller. He has lesions at LI10, BL60, and CV 15. I also treated LI 4 and GV3. I treated his spine with cold laser from T5 to L4 ( seemed like the area that needed it). Active points were not noted. My plan is to start him on Goodness Gracious home cooked food (he has been on Pedigree or Kibbles and Bits) but isn’t eating well anymore. For now, I’m ignoring the testicular tumor because he is not a good surgery candidate. He got worse in August, so I’m thinking Shao Yang pathology is involved, but pulse is not a slam dunk. My thoughts were Xiao Huo Luo Dan for deep cord lesion and Yi Guan Jian harmonize Liver and Spleen. Though would Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang be better to astringe? He does have history of diarrhea constipation. I sent home an Assisi loop for Cervical/thoracic circulation. Thanks you in advance for your time. Brett Ellis.
