- Appetite Fussy And Less Social: Her appetite has also become more fussy over the last year where she used to eat just about anything. Alongside this, she is also much less social. When company used to come over she would be very social and out all night, now she often goes off on her own.
So fussy appetite - Dampness vs Stomach Heat? Liver Qi Stagnation?
Reduced sociability - Liver Blood deficiency from chronically reduced digestion, Spleen Qi deficiency and Dampness?

Notes: Sadly, Daisy came in when I was off in January and got the Cytopoint injection which completely resolved her itch. She is still on BZYQT and still has "tummy episodes" where she has intense borborygmi and inappetence. Today she came in because of one and was tachypneic for O, but I did not see this myself. Her tongue is pink-lavender, moist, normal size. Pulses seem toned. She isn't particularly uncomfortable on palpation, tail-wagging for apmt, but refuses liver treats which is unusual for her.
Notes: Since last visit it has been a rollercoaster ride, goes a couple weeks, then has a spell. Usually happens in middle of the night, lip-smacking, borborygmi, used to be able to get her to eat a bit and she would settle. However this last round she either refused to eat or eventually ate some treats but then started V+. Usually so food driven, but lately really struggling to get her to eat at all, even treats. Had her in yest just to get SQF and Cerenia. Had to give PO Cerenia twice this week as well. No V+ since yest with SQF. Yest stools all mucoid or normal stool with mucoid coating. Stool this am quite red (bright red blood) and mucoid. Not really eating, mostly treats. EN low, not walking as much, less interest. Dictates the walks - where, how long. However, last night she actually wanted to walk. Normally feeding homecooked - beef, carrots, zucchini, pumpkin, fish oils. Lately tried adding green beef tripe but she went off it after 2 weeks. Also tried adding Hon Kitchen but the same disdain after a few days. The Cytopoint helps dramatically with her itching but she is full of dander. And with all of this she is still gaining wt.
