Day 118
Notes: Pet collapsed and had seizures. Dx'd at PUVTH with severe Addison's disease despite normal Na:K. Herbal was stopped. Restarted on Zonisamide. Percorten and 1.25 mg prednisone daily. Hx of intermittent vomiting/gastroenteritis.
Day 301
Notes:
Has had no seizures since addisonian crisis. Is due to go to PUVTH and will likely be weaned off of the Zonisamide.
Because pet continues to have intermittent vomiting, clients very interested in starting Chinese Herbal therapy and acupuncture to address this onging issue. Pet used to have skin lesions but has not had any of these for many months.
