Notes:
MMM test neg at initial presentation. Clinical signs classic for MMM Oct 14, 2014;
Completely resolved with high dose pred within 24 hours. When neg MMM test result, weaned off pred. So, only on for 10 days. Nov. 6 jaw pain returned, but by Nov. 12, pain was resolved. Now pet has temporal muscle atrophy and not able to open mouth quite as far as before initial episode. Since not clincally uncomfortable will begin Bu Gan Tang Nov. 18.
Notes: Pet has been on Liver Support Formula for 3 months now and has remained clinically normal. Stop the herbs and monitor.
Diet is largely canned or kibble
Notes: Pet came in for his wellness exam. Saw a different Dr. and was found to be healthy. No further reports of MMM.
