Treatment and Outcome

Treatments
Day 90

Notes:  So I administered the Arsenicum album 1M as recommended, one dose for the new cat, Waldo, two doses a day for two days for my older cat, Zelig, Sep 12 ad 13.
For Waldo, everything went smoothly, he is adapting more and more.
For Zelig, she has experienced some symptoms. I'll write them here with a timeline:
- 13SEP: vomiting
- 16 SEP: a pimple on left corner of mouth; it bled a bit when I washed her teeth; it got smaller and was gone by the 25th of SEP good
- in general, does not like to not have things her way; ex: if I took her for a walk and she wanted to go in a direction, and then I directed her to a slightly different area, say to avoid some garbage, she'd rather not go there at all and is obviously pissed off
- she likes to sleep in the window sill wrapped in the curtain, hanging in it a bit like in a hammock
- up to SEP 27: growing acceptance of new cat's presence; Waldo sleeping at my feet, Zelig in my arm as usual
- SEP 30, OCT1: a bit aggressive when the time comes for me to leave for work
- 01OCT: vomiting of dry food
- 08OCT: vomiting, dry food bits, not a lot of liquid
- 17 OCT: 7:30 am vomiting of hairball and dry food bits and gastric juices (yellowish, egg yolk consistency, a bit of foam); a lot of spasms, though not a lot of quantity; after that, her left eye was a bit teary
- 24OCT: vomiting of hairball only
- 27OCT: vomiting of freshly eaten food, around 11 am
- 28OCT: vomiting of hairball in morning, with a bit of stomach liquids, then peed in litterbox without obvious distress, but without covering it up either Possibly these 4 were from Waldo being a tad more aggressive.
- from the 15OCT till today: less acceptance of presence of new cat; He was rougher and grabbing her by the neck. they still play, but when sleep time comes, she would rather sleep in a cat pillow next to bed or on a basket that overlooks the bed than in bed with me, to sort of have a surveillance point on Waldo? in the same tame, she cuddles more in my lap if I sit down; it's like cuddle time in bed has been replaced by cuddle time in lap because the other cat's presence doesn't entirely agree with her? she'll even come up in bed, cuddle a bit, then continue to sleep in the other spot; when she is there, he might choose to go sleep on another cat spot close to her, closer than they would be in bed, and that seems fine with her; there's something about sleeping in the same bed that makes her a bit uneasy
As Waldo bothered her less, the vomiting lessened, or it was merely reverting to the original disease state of q 2 weeks of V.

11/15 – hair and stomach fluid
11/24 – fish
12/4
This is back to her twice a month vomit

Re do Ars alb 1M q 12 hr x 6 doses.
Repeated since there was initial improvement. she will stop the dry food. she has been leaving it out when she is out of the house more than an hour, so they will "not be hungry". that will stop. Try agility with her as she is very smart.

Diet is largely raw
