- Comments: Initial History 9/2014: applesauce consistency diarrhea since puppy. 2 stools per day with no blood or mucous. Does see undigested vegies in stool at times. GI tract often gurgles Vomits phlegmy grass 3-4 times per week.

Problem Notes
- Low Energy: Overall is sluggish. On good days with play with other dog, but on bad days just lays around. Owner walks him 1 mile per day. Restless sleeper at night -goes outside 2 times at night (doggie door).
- Poor Appetite: Initial History 9/2014: Willing to eat off and on. At times owner has to hand feed to get Boomer to eat at all. When he feels good, he will eat raw but never with zest. but when he is listless, he will only eat dry Origen and he picks only.
- Pruritis: History 9/2014: Chews and scratches at all 4 feet, face, inner thighs, and arm pits daily. Does not appear to be seasonal. No hairloss. Duration -since 7/2013. Feet are hot and red on exam. Belly skin is bright red and clearly itchy.
Treatments
Notes:
Stools consistantly solid BID with NO undigested food. Itchiness has decreased and now only feet and face. Energy level in 20% improved. No tummy noises, No vomiting, Stopped eating grass.
Tongue is still RED, maybe slightly lavender underside
Pulse: deep compressible, and wide. Mid depth is wiry.
Diet is largely raw
Notes:
Laying on back with legs in the air at home. Belly skin is HOT and red today. Rubbing at face last 2 days more. More paw chewing. No GI signs. energy is still good. Feeding raw AND Origen dry. Less likely to eat breakfast now.
PUlse is more slippery deep.
Tongue is still wet and red, but maybe slightly purple underside. HEAT signs.
PLAN: increase dose of SMS from 1/2 tabl BID to 3/4 tab BID.

Notes:
Inappropriate eating over the holidays has led to laying on back again with legs in air and HOT belly skin. (This had stopped with increased in dose of SMS in OCtober). Facial itchiness is back, INCREASED dreaming back and appetite was WAY down after being fed cheese, ice cream and sausage/ noondles by company.
Tongue: RED Pulse: More slippery in deep position (just disappears!)
PLAN: Increase dose of SMS to 1 1/2 tab BID until symptoms subside, then decrease back down to 1 tab BID
