  • Anxiety: Initial exam 6/2014 - An Earthy Newf's version of fear aggression: barking uncertainly when a person unknown to her enters the house.

  • Fever: Temperature is 102.8
  • Hepatobiliary Disease: GGT elevated for first time and Alk Phos elevated. AST the same; ALT decreased
  • Lethargy: Had been doing better clinically. Seems slightly lethargic and "dumpy"
  • Otitis: Clean ears with 50/50 mix of white vinegar and 70% isopropyl. Treat with Surolan.
  • Periheral Lymphadenopathy: Popliteals and prescaps the size of golf balls. Aspirate: inflammation.
    (NOTE: congested submandibulars and right prescap in August were considered 2ndary to otitis)

Day 0

Notes:  Wean off mycophenolate and metronidazole and begin initial herbal therapy with Xiao Yao San.

Day 47

Notes:  Anxiety improved but not resolved. Ear infection persists - submit culture and sensitivity. Pseudomonas susceptible to enrofloxacin.

Day 79

Notes:  Elevated body temperature and lethargy resolved with acupuncture - lasted only about 2 days. Anxiety is much improved.

Notes:  Seemed to start getting better, then had setback with increased drinking and not eating in the AM. Changed diet to oatmeal and white fish, O concerned about hepatic encephalopathy: may have noted tremors, may have noted bumping into walls, eyes bugged
