Notes: Patient seen 2011 with BUN 39 mmol/L. Started on Bai Wei Di Huang Wan and BUN down to 18.4 one month later . Also normalized phosphorous and creatinine. Put on home made grain free diet. History of pancreatitis and crystals which resolved after diet change. Maintained well until Dec 2014 BUN increasing to 35. Tongue red and dry. Diagnosed kidney yin deficiency and added Yi Guan Jian 1/8 tsp bid. BUN down to 29. Vomiting that had started up much better. Still on BWDHW as well at 0.5 ml BID. Gained one pound since Dec.
