  • Comments: Murmur first noted one year ago. Condition has steadily declined despite benazepril and furosemide use

  • Coughing: Worse in mornings, with excitement and upon rising

    Worse also in summer
  • Inappetance: Owners associate this with the use of Rehmannia Eight Combination
  • Low Energy: Even when not exerting himself
  • Low Stamina: Capable of 2 x 45 minute walks a day with lots of rests
  • Mitral Valve Murmur: Grade V/VI with palpable thrill

Notes:  Murmur is now grade III. Crackles faintly audible. Tongue still purples with stress of exam, but is otherwise a dark pink. Wheezing if pressure at thoracic inlet, suggesting it may be due to collapsing trachea
