Notes:  Owner has had dog to ophthalmologist for consult regarding cataract surgery. Advised need improvement of Blood glucose values prior to surgery.Sx scheduled and of June /16. Has subsequently been to Atlantic Vet College. Have discontinued homemade diet and started DM. Have changed insulin in an attempt to get better duration of regulation. At this time owner is pursuing conventional medicine alone. Will try herbs etc if doesn't see the results they are looking for.
