Notes:  Saw Bailey a week after her day lily eating episode. Client reported she was eating and drinking normally again but was a little less energetic. We discussed diet, considering the Darwin's Pets liver diet. Her current nutrition was a combination of Bravo raw chicken, a freeze dried raw product, and grain free kibble. We decided to shift to beef, rather than chicken, and to cut out the kibble. Started her on XCHT, plus Rx Vitamins Hepatic Support and will recheck liver values in 3 weeks. Tongue was again pale, and pulse was wiry. Hind end a little wobbly-- she has bone-on-bone arthritis in her sacroiliac joints, extreme crepitus, but still goes up and down stairs and into car without an issue.
