Notes:  Patchy has been on You Gui Wan & Bu Gan Tang, numerous other supplements and receives chiro & acupuncture every 2-4 weeks. She has had recurrent pancreatitis & urinary incontinence w/ Stage II Chronic kidney disease. Her mobility has been declining but she presented acutely not able to walk and had an increased respiratory effort. She could stand with assistance but would cross her hindlimbs & had cp deficits. Radiographs revealed mild OA but nothing suggestive of IVDD; ultrasound revealed a generalized intestinal mucosal thickening; labs showed UTI w/ mild azotemia & mild elevations in alt, alp & spec pLI. She was treated w/ IV fluids for the day. She had a chiro adjustment three days later then returned for acupuncture two days after that. Her tongue was pale pink, pulses wiry. Pulses responded to BL 17 & BL40 (needling BL 23 made pulses worse). She is mobile again but still fairly ataxic.
