Day 124

Notes:  Dog is moving much better on RH. Good weight bearing and length of stride. Tongue pink, moist, thin white coat. Pulse less toned and less thin.Much less sensitivity on palpation of back Shu points. Still sensitive at GB 30, GB-34and today at BL-54. Currently on Benefit Hips and Knees, Xiao Huo Luo Dan and You Gui Wan. Traumeel, colocynthis, spascupreel, and ruta grav. Discontinued Bu Gan Tang as made dog restless at night.

Diet is largely canned or kibble

Day 215

Notes:  Dog has been significantly improved.Then 5 days ago he chased another dog off the deck and tumbled down the steps, lay unmoving for several minutes and when he got up was not weight bearing on RH. Has been on Metacam the past 4 days but he is still extrememly sore He is using the leg with a pronounced limb. Acupunctured BL 18, 23, 27 GB 30,34, BL 60. Unable to needle Bl-40so lasered all local stifle points. We had changed from XHLD to XFHMY as he developed a hot spot, but have put him back on XHLD along with Benefit HIps and Knees. Will acupuncture again in a week.
