Question Details
GZT Plus Ge Gen
by landauvet - June 23, 2009
Hi Steve,
I am treating a horse for neck pain and ataxia. This horse just came off 6 weeks of doxycycline and Marquis (antiprotozoal for Equine Protozoal Myelitis) for musculoskeletal pain of unknown origin. Then his hocks were injected with depomedrol and hyaluronic acid. His neck pain is significant and new. It also began after all these other therapies. I thought that all these therapies might have taken an external pathogen and drew it deep into the Shoa Yang. I started him on XCHT and wanted to add the GZT plus Ge Gen for the neck pain. Do you think the combination is ok? How much Ge Gen do I add?
Thanks,
Kevin Landau

Hi Kevin,

That seems fine to try.

Add about 20g of Ge Gen per 100g of Gui Zhi Tang.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. Interesting case! Off to the plane.

Steve
