Hi Phil,

Our top pick for liver cancer is Ge Xia Zhu Yu Tang, combined also with concomitant use of Xiao Chai Hu Tang (Minor Bupleurum).

Results using these two formulas are highly reliable in hepatic adenocarcinoma.

Good luck!

I have 2 dogs thst I am currently treating with a liver mass. They have not been confirmed as benign or malignant, but that does not really matter to me. I am treating them both as Blood stasis, primarily, and use GXZYT with San Leng and E Zhu, similar to Dr. Marsden's mast cell tumor formula with a different base.
I also find that there are frequently signs of Damp Heat and Qi stagnation, for which I add Si Miao San (has berberine-antineoplastic), Long Dan Xie Gan Tang(moves Qi, clears Heat, cooling and a little nourishing). and sometimes just add a little Chai Hu if I want stronger Qi moving effects.
I always add antioxidant, silymarin, and some sort of medicinal mushroom, as well as reduced to no carbohydrate in the diet.
I find that many people that come to me have had no discussion of diet modifications bt their veterinarian.
