I am treating a dog who is potentially 3 weeks pregnant. She has been on XCHT for the last 6 months for chronic Lyme. When she comes off the herbs, she gets crusty eye discharge and itchy with no lesions. Can I keep her on the herbs further into pregnancy or should I stop.
Her pulses are slippery and they used to be wiry which may be a pregnancy sign. Some dander and odor to coat. No real active points. Otherwise she seems fine. The problem is that last year she had similar symptoms that caused her to lose her pregnancy. By that point her eyes were crusty and crusty around her lips. I would like her to stay on the herbs if possible.
