I'm treating a middle aged cat for chronic constipation. She had abnormal stools by age 2, which I thought was odd. She will only use her box every other day or so, which doesn't help. But there seems to be a true disorder there, as the owner remembers her having very firm stools even when she used the box more regularly, early in her dz.
Anyway, Bu zhong yi qi tong helped some, enzymes helped some, so I'm thinking she's sp qi def.
She had some damp signs, so I tried WLT and some Homotox remedies, had ~ the same response- better, not fixed.
Then BZYQT w/ Cascara; still ~ same; some stools better, some firmer and dryer ( not nec. just the "saved" ones).
She has some mild damp signs (stool odor, occ. gas), St phlegm? (eats hair). T: sl. red P: All cat pulses still feel ~ the same to me, I'm afraid, but I keep trying.
