Question Details
HyperA Dog
by mikemesley - August 4, 2009
Got a dog doing quite well on SMS for its hyperA. Have started on low carb diet and things are improving.
On recheck today her tongue has become really purple, and pulse is still thin, weak not really wiry.
Still not losing weight but her O is feeding the diet prescribed plus meat plus dry food bits plus dental chews - so this has been sorted (I hope).
Just felt like we were heading towards stasis with purple tongue and wasn't sure if there was anything else to add to the mix to support SMS in maintaining the improvements.
As I said - I'm happy to leave things as they are, just wanted to be ticking all the possible boxes.
Anything else anyone out there does for their cushing's dogs??

Thanks to all,
Mike

Hi Mike,

If you're headed for Blood stasis, then adding Dang Gui to Si Miao San can help alleviate that and fatten up the pulse, too, with its tonic properties.
