Anal Gland/perianal Tumorr

I am having a hard time finding whether it is modified LDXGT or modified Er Miao San you recommended specifically for nasty anal gland/rectal masses. Could you refresh my memory please?
Thanks, Jodi

Hi Jodi,

After the text was written, I found Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang to be of the most benefit in these cases. I'd add San Leng and E Zhu for their anti-cancer effects.

I found the two formulas in the Wynn& Marsden book. Looks like Jia Wei Er Miao San is mor for Stasis, and modified LDXGT is more when suppuration and Damp Heat predominate. As this is an older,Blood deficient dog (secondary to stasis), and the aspirate was mostly RBC with small rafts of tumor cells, I will go with Jia Wei Er Miao San and see how it goes. Thanks for listening. Jodi

So then that leaves the question, if it is a neoplasia, you choose modified XFZYT, and reserve these other two formulas specifically for anal gland abscesses and perianal fistulas?
