Masticartory Myositis In A Dog
by Leahruns - January 20, 2015    View Case Report
This is an eleven week old CKCS. It has presumed masticatory myositis. Awaiting confirmation form referral hospital. The jaw only opens about 1 1/2 cm. and there is no pain or swelling. While awaiting confirmation and presumptive use of prednisone I am looking at your two formulae, Qing Ying Tang and Bu GanTang. Would either of these or both be appropriate for this puppy? She is having trouble eating.

Qing Ying Tang is generally the better choice for more acute cases. Bu Gan Tang is generally better for more long term and remittent cases
