Question Details
Feline Arterial Thrombosis
by Marta - September 17, 2009
Hi Steve!
I just got back from AHVMA to a patient (not seen by me) with lameness on the R forelimb. It's flacid, with no CP reflex. His history is radioactive iodine Spring 2008, was doing great. Now has arrythmia and tachycardia with hypertension. The owner is not going for heroics, I'm not sure I'll get any imaging.
I'm not good at pulses on cats...
Any ideas?
Thanks!!
Marta

Hi Marta,

Nice seeing you again.

For single limb paralysis, I use homeopathic Plumbum 30C given twice daily. I also would check out the neck and make sure there are no impingements. Do you do chiropractic? If not, I'd try to source someone who does.

Good luck

Steve
