Elf is a 2 yr old FS Curly-coated retriever who was diagnosed with renal dysplasia at the age of 1 yr. Her azotemia has stayed stable at early Stage 3 IRIS & she's active, eating well & has been on Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan for the past 5 months. In the past month she has had 3 seizures, all occurring around 6:15 am.
Tongue is pale pink, pulses stronger on left side & they feel broad but w/o tone.
Obviously it's time for a change of herbs but I'm at a complete lost. Would it be better to add something for Internal Wind to the ZBDHW or switch to something completely different?
