Question Details
Skin Papillomas / Adenomas
by Elise - October 6, 2018
I am checking in to see if anyone has a favorite general remedy for papillomas/ adenomas. My patient is a Red Miniature Poodle, MN, 6 years old, Earth personality. Coat is not greasy, no sores, no itching, no dandruff, tends to be overweight, diet is Porter’s Pride Raw food diet. Owner has noticed increase in presence of papillomas. No biopsies performed. Is Tan Yu Tang an option? Oral Thuja?
Thank you
Elise

Hi Elise,

Homeopathic Thuja is an option (30C strength, which should be widely available, given once daily) for a few weeks.

Topical Thuja can be applied to the warts themselves, and is safe to ingest as a tincture. If you can find it as an oil, it might penetrate the warts easily, but if it's an essential oil, you might want to dilute it in some other base before using it, since there can be more reactions to ingestion of essential oils

I've used Si Miao San in these cases, with significant success (i.e. elimination of most of the warts over time), but these cases tend to be more inflamed.

Any anti-Dampness or anti-Phlegm formula that fits the patient is a worthy consideration, including Tan Yu Tang and Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin

Hope that helps a little
