Problem With The Website

Hello,

I tried to ask a case question and received this error message:

An Error Was Encountered

Please update 0 case question(s) before asking another one
-3 case(s). You can turn some of your old forum questions into updated cases if you like

I am not sure what this means. Can you help me resolve the problem?

Hi Jennifer,

The idea was for people to 'pay' for their advice by promising to update us how their patients did. After three cases, they have to supply at least one update to continue asking questions.

For some reason, the code making the calculation is now dealing with negative numbers rather than whole positive numbers, most likely due to a change in the version of CGI software they are running. I will try to fix the code or just remove the restriction altogether.

Meanwhile, thanks for trying to follow the rules anyway!

Hi again!

I checked out the code and can't see how it would have asked you to update any cases. That doesn't happen until people have asked at least three case questions with no progress updates.

I guess let me know if it still is happening to you. Let me know what you click as well to make that error message pop up.
