Has hx of MCT removal on her forehead 2/24. Also had lipoma removed then as well. Additional masses noted after the surgery. She has 6 new masses now.
Stress seems to trigger the inflammation of the masses.
Also has a swollen hip area noted a couple of weeks after the surgery. she won't sit on that hip unless on something soft.
She has always been a bunny hopper.
No V/D/C/S. might have a little acid reflux - belches and slight chuffing or cough related with some gulping. happens a few times a week.
normal thirst and appetite; stool is normal
does like to sleep late and doesn't like the heat. might be less active right now
sleeps good with no vivid dreaming; does NEED her sleep. If doesn't sleep good she will be cranky and whiney.
wants to be cold all the time, very sensitive to the heat. doesn't necessarily seek cold but is more comfortable in the cooler temps
tends to be a bit anxious- sensitive to noises, doesn't like to be by herself or her Dad leaves. not significant separation anxiety

Plan
I feel confident that Modified Xue Fu Zhu Yu is a place to start for this dog. Would this help to address the coughing and hip/hind limb pain or do I also need to use Xiao Chai Hu Tang?
Is it ok for the owner to continue with the mild thistle, Chaga, and quercitin or should I have her pair down?
Thanks so much!
