Pertinent medical history:
Labs done 2/18/25: ALP 609, PLT 425, T4 3.8
AUS 2/18/25: a few liver nodules, a little inspissated material in GB, otherwise normal
Hx of urate and struvite bladder stones (many years ago, put on ID food to manage post op)
TCVM:
Thunderstorm phobia, anxiety in general has gotten worse (Blood deficiency?)
She is a friendly dog with people and pets, a little clingy lately
No temperature preferences
sleeps great in her crate; will put herself to bed when she is tired
Loves to swim in the summer
was on pred pre-op and did not seem to have significant side effects
Has been more hungry lately but not more thirsty (Damp Heat
Tongue: pink, a few cracks, thin edges, mild lavendar in the center
Pulse: deep, strong tone, finger lift
Assessment
Comments: Blood stasis, Blood deficiency (tumors, lavendar tongue, anxiety, thunderstorm phobia)
possible TBO (ALP, PLT elevated; inspissated material in GB)
possible Damp Heat (just one current sign but also hx of bladder stones)
Herbs:
Given MCT and soft tissue sarcoma- would choose Xue Fu Zhu Yu
Contemplating what additional herb might be needed...Xiao Chai Hu Tang?
