I have a 8.5yr old FS Yorkie Poo, second opinion for proteinuria and has been placed on Benazepril. BUN/Creatinine are normal. The proteinuria has improved on this medicine. The patient is eating a fresh food home made diet. The Pulses are mid depth, toned, moderate fingerlift, resists compression and increased rate.
Patient has a history of processed foods, with a history( Several years ago) of a C section and pups did not make it, as a complicating issue she developed aspiration pneumonia while hospitilized, so many antibiotics were administered over a period of time.
I did not modulate the pulse with GB points as far as I can tell.
I was thinking Xiao Chai Hu Tang but also wanted to know if addressing the history of damp would be in order using San Ren Tang?
Thank you so much!
