I have a few quick questions for you, and thank you so much for answering them all in the past few weeks.
General question: I have had a handful of geriatric female patients with recurrent urinary tract infections, who do not respond to antibiotic treatment no matter which antibiotic is used according to the urine sensitivity list after culturing. I have used Adored Beast Easy Peesy Protocol with no improvement along with UTI Warrior from Natura Petz Organics. Do you have any thoughts or other options as I dislike using antibiotics anyway, but now they don’t seem to respond to anything I try.
Specific patient question: I have a 17 week, female, Border Collie puppy who presented to my clinic for stranguria, pollakiuria on 6/15 and a urinalysis performed illustrated many rods and WBC’s and RBC’s noted. UTI was dx and she was sent home on Clavamox. 2 weeks later her recheck u/a on 7/1 after 2 weeks of Clavamox was exactly the same with WBC’s, RBC’s and Rods. At this point my co-worker cultured a cystocentesis sample, and it returned as E. coli. She then spoke to an internist and they had recommended starting TMS in which she then took for 14 days. Her recheck urine then on 7/21 illustrated continued elevated WBC count (49/phpf) but no rods and otherwise NSF. At that point when I saw them , I started her on Adored Beast Easy Peesy, perivulvar wiping with natural baby wipes, and asked them to recheck a urine in 2 weeks. (We had talked about possible Vaginitis at this time as well) Her recheck urine performed yesterday 8/4, illustrated less WBC’s (6/phpf), no RBC’s but significant amt of rods again. Ugghh. We discussed that ideally avoiding antibiotics again would be ideal, and hoping you might have a magical herb blend that we could try. :)).
Also she was on a kibble when she came to see me and now on a raw diet, along with omega 3 FA, Green JuJu Soil probiotic, and Standard Process Mushroom Complex.
