Another question for the older MN viszla diagnosed with lymphoma a year ago, treated with chemo + acup + chiro + nutraceuticals and doing great as far as the lympho goes...but now azotemic (BUN 114, Cr 3.4, Phos 6.2, urine SG 1.012), no lympho in KI on ultrasound.
I've been thoroughly convinced of the value of rehmannia to support KI function and was hoping to use this, but I read that it also supports the bone marrow and wondered what your thoughts are concerning its potential riskiness in a lymphoma patient.
This patient has originally very HT Deficient (lymphoma was diagnosed one year after his younger housemate was stolen in their van, and the van was set fire with the other dog inside it when it was left behind - devastated the owner), then after a few treatments presented KI Deficient (pulse diagnosis) and has stayed there. His tongue is slightly dull pink and thick, pulse is weak. He consistently has active KI points (KI7, BL23, KI1). He also has left forelimb lameness with suspected torn shoulder capsule.
