I was asked by a local vet to help her sister's dog from afar who has a second oral mass. She is a 11 year old lab collie cross FS. The mass was removed and was a malignant melanoma. This present mass is in the same general vacinity of the first and thought to be a recurrence. A biopsy results confirmed the diagnosis of malignant melanoma. It was not encapsulated nor were normal borders observed.
As a first-timer with this type of tumor, I was hoping for some general input.
I would consider this a blood stasis tumor, so I might considered modified XFZYT.
I will interview the owner over the phone to get a TCM picture of the situation.
Thanks,
Kevin Landau
