Hello!

What topical preparations and oral herbs/ herb formulas do you recommend for reduction of post surgical and post burn skin scars, keloids, proud flesh do you recommend?
Do you think a topical mixture of bach flower cream, calendula, green tea and lavender would be beneficial?

Hi Julie,

Your ointment sounds fine. You could also really ramp up its anti-keloid power by mixing in Dan Shen (Salvia) as a granular extract. Salvia has been shown in multiple studies to have an anti-keloid effect.

All the best,

Steve

i would also add some frankincence and melrose. both are good for skin, the frankincence works for inflamation and melrose sets up a protective barrier to encourage healing.

Cool! Thank you Andrea. Does anyone have success with 'circle the dragon' technique using dry needling or vitamin b12 injections?
Thank you,

I'm sure circling the dragon would be helpful as well, since it's another way of manipulating circulation(as are Calendula, Frankincense and Salvia) through the region. Have fun with it. You can even try these herbs orally if you like, but at the very least, apply them topically.

All the best,

Steve
