Is ectropion able to be treated with TCVM?
I am treating a 4 year old Bernese Mountain Dog for chronic recurrent bacterial urinary infection and chronic renal insufficiency with a combination of home made diet, Si Miao San, acupuncture, 'Proviable' probiotics and Bilberry. She also has had recurrent bouts of gastritis but is totally better now with low doses of Liu Jun Zi Tang added. Her owner says she has never been this healthy before. Her Damp-Heat is totally cured now.
1 month ago I had to do entropion surgery on her left eye because she had chronic corneal irritation and epiphora. The surgery was very successful (her eye is no longer inflammed or draining) however, there is a mild ectropion now present, but not severe enough to require surgery.
Her pulses and tongue and acupuncture points are all normal.
