I am seeing a 6 year old Lab Ret FS. She was having a weight problem as well as itchiness to face and ears. Her weight has done great. I just saw her after the last few months of being on SMS. Her weight is excellent as her vitality and coat.
She has a fine dander, slight hair loss around her eyes and a hot, itchy head. No skin lesions but very itchy.
Tongue: red slightly
Pulse: Superficial, forceful and slippery. Bl-19 tonification, GB-1 sedation, GV-14 sedation all moderated the pulse. I tried simultaneously tonifying GV-4 and sedating GV-14, this did not seem to help.
BL-40 and GB-34 no change to pulse.
I am confused because many symptoms of blood deficiency and wind do not go along with the full forceful pulses. GB ass point significance?
If I went with a blood deficiency formula, I want to make it descend yang also. What do you think?
