Thanks for posting your case on the forum. I appreciate it.
I like your idea of using an anti-Damp formula. These formulas often possess significant anti-cancer and anti-oxidant activity. This is especially true for Si Miao San, which contains Yi Yi Ren, the most commonly used anti-cancer herb in China today. Phellodendron also has lots of anti-cancer activity as well, including MDR pump inhibition. Of course, anything you use should be checked to make sure it is not upsetting blood glucose, but studies indicate ingredients of the above formula promote insulin sensitivity (i.e. normal insulin signalling). But do a curve or something anyway, to be sure things are okay, after a couple of weeks.
To target the mammary chain a bit more, you could use Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin (Angelica and Mastic Combination). It pairs well with Si Miao San, and targets the mammary chain. I have used this formula with repeated success for mammary problems, including the prevention of tumors post-op, as well as the elimination of arm edema in women post-op. It has additional anti-cancer activity as well, in the form of blood movers, such as Ru Xiang (Boswelia), which promotes tumor cell differentiation and apoptosis.
So I would use the two formulas together, and that should give you good protection. You can look them up for further info and see if they fit. Of course a whole foods low glycemic and low carb diet will help, too. Once the Damp symptoms have been resolved, you can scale back the herb dose to the minimum required to maintain the animal symptom free. In general, however, herb use in cancer cases should be continued over six months to a year at least, and preferably longer. Since they are not that cytotoxic, and instead thwart tumor growth using a number of different mechanisms, you're waiting for the blast cells to eventually die of old age, and that takes much longer than a regular cell.
