I have a 3 y.o FS yellow lab pt. that is, for the past ~ 1 month, enjoying canned pumpkin frozen in her Kong. This seems to help keep her satiated, trimming down, and firming up stool.. The owner noted that when she has the pumpkin, she gets brown/red tear staining at the medial canthi, OU (o. notes: "like in the little white dogs...")

Anyone know of a correlation here that I'm missing? She is also on a supplement recently...Nupro, w/ Joint Support, that has flax and dried powder-form beef liver.

Thanks for any thoughts...
