Question Details
Nasal Carcinoma
by caitrine - January 26, 2010
I have a patient who is an older female cat who had nasal signs (discharge) for a year. Nasal biopsy came back as Nasal carcinoma. I went to NAVC lectures on TCVM but I have no training in tongue or pulse diagnosis. The university I had sent her to said chemo not very helpful and owner declined it so they said to do Prednisone. I am not sure of her diet yet but I thought I could have her do Dr. Wynn's paleolithic diet and then see if there were any herbs that could help. Thanks, Caitrine Hellenga

Hi Caitrine,

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully we can help you out. The diet change is a good first step. Next is for you to make the call, as we discussed in the lecture, whether this is a rapidly progressing and inflammed tumor, or whether it is slow growing, expansile and relatively painless.

Let me know your thoughts on that and we'll go from there.

All the best,

Steve
