Question Details
Short Course
by
Hi Dr. Marsden,

I was writing to inquire about the IVAS short course you are giving in March. I am a 2009 graduate of the IVAS acupucture course and am feeling uneasy about the herbals still. I know you briefly touched on some herbal treatments during the acupuncture course and was wondering if this herbal course would be more in depth or mostly review. I don't have enough CE funds for the full course this year. Would it be worth it for me to fly out for the 3 day course, or would you advise to wait a year or two for the full course? Thanks.

Lauren

Hi Lauren,

I wouldn't wait a couple of years to get started if I were you. This course, brief though it is, should be enough to get you started and feeling a bit more confident about using herbs and getting results. The goal is to 'get you started in a weekend', have you experience some good success in the majority of the cases you try, so that you can see the potential. If right now you can't see the potential, then this course is what you need, I think.

In short, then, I know money's tight, but the course is worthwhile and won't be money wasted.

Have a great week, whatever you decide to do.

Steve
