I have been treating a 26 # main coon feline spayed 7 yr for constipation
She has a partial colonectomy 1 year ago. She is well but has slowly been gaining weight. She is on California natural fish wet and wellness dry complete health. The surgeon recommended the stool be pudding consistency, which it is. How do you think she would do with a high protein diets or raw? Would the stools be too small and pasty and therefore hard to pass in mobility terms? Owner was looking more at evo or wellness core. I talked about origins but would like you opinion about the high protein for this kitty’s colon. Thanks Sue
