I have another case that's asking for your expert input. This one is a 10 year old MN mix breed recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. His pulse tends to be superficial and tongue is slightly red and dark. I was thinking of starting him on SMS, but then today the owner mentioned that he's not tolerating the cold as well as he used to. On further questioning, he still stays out longer than the other dogs, so it's ambiguous in interpretation, but he's also seeking out the heat vents indoors.
His symptoms from the tumor are mild: a little quieter than usual, a little stumbling on the rt forelimb (this has improved), and then just today he started circling to the left.
He's not reliably responsive to any particular points, though today he had a nice brief response to LR3/LI4.
any thoughts?
thanks as always,
amy
