Lyphoma

Last one...I have a 4 year old mini australian shepard with the MDR mutation who has been diagnosed with lymphoma and had a severe chemo reaction. He no longer recieves Chemo and started on Hoxsey and Tan Yu Tang. He takes Vitamin E, Acidophilus, Transfer Factor, CoQ10, Selenium, and I started him on low dose pred and Si mao San because of slight increased LN. This week he seveloped sig. LN enlargement and I added XFZYT w/San Land and E Zhu. T/P/Active point show mixed phlegm and blood stasis on the surface, and he has diarrhea since stating pred.(originally diarrhea, low albumin and low platelets. Any ideas for LN enlargement? Would appreciat e the help. Jean

Hi again,

XCHT is theoretically of value in lymphoma. You could roll it in there. It hopefully will help. Lymphoma appears to be a situation where Yin and Yang aren't mixing, with Yin not penetrating the outer Yang layer, which becomes hot as a result. XCHT treats the Shao Yang layer, which is all about mixing Yin and Yang. I saw my own teacher in Portland a few weeks ago. He suggested adding Indigo, and perhaps Xuan Shen, to XCHT to make it better at getting that Yin layer cooled off. I haven't had a chance to try the advice yet as I'm still on the road, but you could be the first. He seemed certain it could help.

How much of those would you add to the base formula? I have a case right now I can give it a try on and let you know.
