I have a new patient who we changed to raw food about 2.5 weeks ago. Within 1 week the client thought she noticed some increased frequency in urinating. It worsened and I saw them yesterday. She has overt hematuria and UTI with cocci bacteria.
I have had two other reports from people who told me their cats got bloody urine when switching to raw.
I can't come up with any good reasons/correlations.
She is a 10yr old lab with really no issues historically.
Any thoughts on how the food might have set it off? It was Steve's Real Food beef (a locally made product).
