Vestibular Disease

Hi Steve,
Have you ever tried BZYQT for vestibular episodes?

I have a couple of old, dry dogs with lingering symptoms and head tilt/torticollis improves with movement. They have both had previous episodes (not treated). They both ended up on TMGTY and XCHT based on what I found, but recovery very slow.

Anyway, they seem like they need perfusion to brain...I guess I could also try XFZYT?

I was also looking at Wen Dan Tang for vestibular episodes? Have you tried that one?

To increase cerebral perfusion, both BZYQT and XFZYT are options. Probably my first pick for these old codgers is DHJST.

I've been disappointed in the benefits of Wen Dan Tang, or any formulas based on its philosophy, including Dao Tan Tang, etc.

For extreme Yin deficiency, I've also used Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan combined with Gui Zhi Jia Long Gu Mu Li Tang. Those are more severe cases, however, but Yin tonics in general may help where TMGTY has shown benefit.
