Question Details
Cryptorchid

Any suggestions for herbal or acupuncture points for a 12 week old corgi with undescended testicles. They are palpable in the inguinal area. Owner says acupuncture helped another pup she had previously.

Hi there,

Given how often young dogs quickly become Blood deficient on processed diets, I'd look at supporting Kidney Yin and Liver Blood first. There are probably lots of options - You Gui Wan, Si Wu Tang - but that should be a safe direction to go that has as much potential as any. I'm interested if anyone else has some experience here.

Good luck

I'm interested in others suggestions too. I was trying w/ (at the time) a 5.5 m.o. tib terrier. I used Epimedium powder and added Gui Ban. The client noted a nice personality change and maturity/focus with the Epi., but diuretic effect with the Gui Ban. But, at 10 mos, still cryptorchid until we surgically resolved that.

Any others that were successful?
